Transom Boat Works had 2 boats on display as

part of the Nova Scotia Boat Builder's In-Water Boat Show: a newly restored wooden Bluenose Sloop and an 11-foot Shellback Dinghy.

The Shellback Dinghy always receives a lot of

attention and interest.

Ted's brother, Jim, visiting Nova Scotia

for the Festival.

Jen received this Shellback from her brother Eric.  She named the boat "Stircrazy" after her catering company in Ontario.

Despite the overcast and drizzly weather, there still managed to a little fun on the water racing the Shellback Dinghies in the harbor.

One of the highlights of the Festival was the launch and inaugural sail of Jen's new Shellback Dinghy.

Chip Dickinson, one of the esteemed boat

judges for the Festival, presents Ted with

one of the two awards Transom Boat Works

won this year.
